Graveside services for Bertha "Ms. Mac" Johnson will be 2 p.m. Monday in Galveston Memorial Park of Hitchcock, the Rev. Jeff Shepherd of First Baptist Church, La Marque officiating.

Burial will be directed by Emken-Linton Funeral Home.

Ms. Johnson died Thursday at Danforth memorial Hospital of Texas City. She was 76.

Born Sept. 20, 1905 in Ottawa County, Okla., Ms. Johnson was a retail clerk. She had been a Texas City resident for 40 years.

Survivors include a brother, Richard Carnal, of Blue Springs, Mo., four sisters, Josie Cook of Picher, Okla., Adelia Hanna of Douthat, Ok., Ruth Tarter of Farmington Hills, Mich., Billie Olds of Commerce, Ok., and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City between 11 a.m. and noon Monday
