Billie Olds Dies
COMMERCE - Billie F. Olds, Commerce, died Saturday in a Joplin hospital after a long illness. She was 77.
Mrs. Olds was born June 8, 1912, in Douthat and had lived in Commerce for the last several years. She was a former employee of the Spartan School of Aeronautics, King Louie Inc. in Baxter Springs and the Glen Berry Manufacturing Co. in Commerce. She was a member of the Douthat Baptist Church and attended the First Baptist Church, Commerce.
Survivors include a brother, Richard Carnal Sr. Blue Springs, MO., and two sisters, Mrs. Josie Cook and Mrs. Dea Hanna, both of Picher.
Graveside services will be at 10a.m. Monday in GAR Cemetery. The Rev. Clyde Stilley will officiate. Burial will be under direction of the Jim Thomas and Son Funeral Home, Commerce.
