Dematroula "Tula" Pappas was the youngest of nine children of Gust John & Jennie Jouflas Pappas. She married Marcus Elroy White on Dec 21, 1958 in Price, Utah. They were the parents of a son. Tula died of cancer just days after her 44th birthday.

Tula Pappas White, 44, died of an illness at Las Vegas on April 22. She was born April 4, 1928 in Price to Gus J. and Ianoula Jouflus Pappas. She married Marcus E. White on Dec. 21, 1958 in Price. She was a school teacher in Las Vegas, a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Survivors include her husband; son, Mark Stuart White, Las Vegas; brothers and sisters, Luke G., John G., and Nick G., all of Price; Mrs. Nick (Mae) Bikakis, Dragerton; Mrs. Bessie Protopappas, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. L. P. (Sandra) Guy, Jr., West Covina, Calif.; Mary Lines, Salt Lake City.

Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Price Greek Orthodox Church with burial in Price City Cemetery.
