ARVEDA G.STILES, 69, Abilene, Texas, formerly of Gypsy and Nicktown, died, Friday, Jan. 5, 1990 , in Abilene.
The daughter of Orin and Cora Gromley Bennett, she was born Oct. 16, 1920, in Gypsy.

Surviving are her stepmother, Laura Bennett, Warren: eight children: Doyle, Indiana, Dorothy Woods, Abilene: Lois Anthony, Russell: Della Highhouse, Warren: Betty Burke and Delores Wetzel, both of Indiana; Margie Trumbull, Tidioute; Emily Obermeyer, Sterling, Va.; 15 grandchildren, two brothers: Delbert Bennett, Newark, Calif; Fred Bennett, Raleigh, N.C.; two sisters: Alice Wilson, Erie, Thea Thornton, Clymer; fire step-brothers and three step-sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Doyle A. Stiles; a daughter, Norma.

Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Long Funeral Home Inc., Barnesboro.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Mentcle Wesleyan Methodist Church with the Reverends Alfred Bennett and Ray Satterfield officiating and interment in The Mt Union Methodist Cemetery , Alverda.
