STRONGSTOWN--A Nicktown man was killed near here last night in a one-car smash-up on Legislative Route 32021 at 11:10 p.m. state police from the Indiana substation report.
According to the state police report, a car driven by Doyle A. Stiles, 50, Nicktown was traveling north on Route 32021 at a high rate of speed when the car left the road, went through a fence, jumped a ravine and rolled over twice before comint to a stop.
The accident occurred two and a half miles south of Strongstown in Buffington Twp.
Mr. Stiles was pronounced deat on arrival at Johnstown Memorial Hospital at 11:55 p.m. of a crushed chest and other injuries.
Police said that Stiles was alone when the accident occurred.
