Lois was born October 20, 1943, in Nicktown, Pa., the daughter of the late Doyle and Arveda Bennette Stiles. She was devoted to her faith and raising her family. She was a member of both the Brown Hill Wesleyan Church and the Cable Hollow Community Church. She held many positions at Brown Hill Wesleyan Church, and was a deacon for six years at Cable Hollow Community Church; she was also the Bible School Director and was involved in many Bible studies. Lois enjoyed many hobbies, making crafts and blankets, quilting, and plastic canvas. She also enjoyed her family, and spoiling her grandchildren
She is survived by her husband Dennis Anthony of Russell, whom she married on February 5, 1965 in Youngsville ; two daughters, Sherri Enos and her husband David of Landerl Annette Kelsey and her husband Arthur of Youngsville; six sisters, Betty Burke and her husband Butch of Edgewood, MD., Margie Trumbull and her husband Larry of Tidioute; Delores Wetzel of Harrisburg, Dorothy Woods and her husband Mike , of Abilene , TX.,Della Highhouse of Pleasant Township, Emily Obermeyer and her husband Bob of Easton, Pa., one brother, Doyle Stiles and his wife Diane of Heilwood, Pa.,; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Stiles.
Friends will be received at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Wednesday, December 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., a funeral service will be held on Thursday,k December 29 at 11 a.m.,at Cable Hollow Community Church, 3157 Cable Hollow Rd.,, Russell, with Rev. Allan Jones, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Cable Hollow Community Church.
