Mrs. Ed Headley, 75, of Auburn, Ca., the sister of 3 Mulvane residents, passed away last Saturday at the home of her son in Auburn. She was the widow of the former publisher of the HAVEN (Ks) JOURNAL until his death 12 years ago.
She was born in at Overbrook, Ks. The Headleys were former Mulvane residents before going to Haven.
Survivors include her son, Frank, and family in California, 3 brothers, Ed and Carl of Mulvane, and Frank of West Palm Beach, Fl; and 4 sisters, Mrs. Florence Brinkerhoff, Mrs. Nellie Oliver of Mulvane and Mrs. Esther Trufelli and Mrs. Elsie Taylor of Wichita.
Funeral services were held Wed. afternoon at the Haven Methodist Church, with Rev. Phil Chastan officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita, Ks.
