Mrs. George Morgan Kimbe of Mulvane died near noon, Friday, 28 Jan 1927, after a lingering illness, Mrs. Kimble had been a sufferer from heart and other diseases for some time and although her condition had been somewhat improved the first of last week, death had been momentarily expected for the three days previous to her passing.
For 49 years Mrs. Kimble had been a resident of Kansas, and for 19 years had lived in or near Mulvane, coming here in 1908 from Osborne County. For many years her husband & son have been in the grocery business here, while other sons and daughters are in business and on farms here and in other communities. The deceased was one of the most loved women of this community.
Mrs. Kimble wa past 65 years of age. She is survived by her husband, George M. Kimble; 2 sisters, Mrs Sadie Emerson of Colorado, & Mrs Nellie Heath, of Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Wm. Garrigues of Manhattan, Ks., Lewis Garrigues of Utica, Ks; and 10 childre, Mrs. Bessie Headley of Haven, Ks; Frank of Salida, Co.; Mrs. Esther Trufelli and Mrs. Elsie Taylor, both of Wichita; Mrs. A.C. Faairchild, Idaho; Mrs. O.D. McMoran, Washington state; Dillon Kimble, Downs, Ks; Ralph and David Kimble of Co.; and Robert, Sam, Ed and Carl, and Mrs. Nellie Oliver and Florence all of Mulvane.
