Note: They were living apart in 1900 and 1910 according to census records and Adeline Conner was listed as "widowed" in both census records even though her husband did not die until 1912!


The Wednesday, November 8, 1911 edition [page 12] of the Montgomery [AL] Advertiser included:

Deaths.
Mrs. Cricia A. Connor, one of Montgomery's old residents, died Tuesday afternoon at 3:35 o'clock. She was 65 years old. She is survived by four sons, H. H. Connor, S. D. Connor and Charles Connor of Montgomery, and G. R. Connor of Prattville, and three daughters, Mrs. W. F. Staugh [Stough] and Mrs. A. B. Langley of Montgomery, and Mrs. J. C. Coker of Prattville. Mrs. Connor was born in Alabama and lived in Montgomery nearly all her life.

The funeral will be held from the residence of her daughter Mrs. A. B. Langley, 809 Palmetto Street, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. J. H. Holloway will officiate. The body will be buried at Greenwood cemetery.
