Alabama Journal, Thurs., Oct 24, 1935 - Mrs. Alice Ardelia Stough, 68, died at the residence at Shorters, at 6:45 am Thursday after a lingering illness. Surviving are the husband, W. F. Stough of Shorters; 3sons: F. J. Stough-Heavener, OK, S. H.-Lowndesboro & W. L.-Shorters; 2daus: Mrs. Hulet Smith-Tuscaloosa & Mrs. Sadie Collie of this city; 2sisters: Mrs. Fannie Coker - city & Mrs. Luella Langley-Birmingham. The funeral will be held from Diffly's Funeral Home Friday at 2 pm with Rev. Frank Moseley, assisted by Rev. Mr. Sellers, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
