Destimona A. (Bishop) Whited was born 28 Nov 1849 at Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Hiram S. & Anna Bishop. She married Ephriam B. Whited 23 October 1862 at Scio, Linn Co., OR. She was the mother of 7 children, five of whom survived her including Minnie E. Weddle, who is in this lot.

Husband: Ephraim B. Whited (54072974) who is buried in the Bramlet cemetery in Wallowa.Dessie and Ephraim were cousins, as Dessie's father Hiram was a young brother of Ephraim's mother, Elizabeth Bishop Whited, who had also raised Hiram after his parents died when he was 2 years old.

In the photo of Dessie and the 2 women, they are both her half sisters. You have Ella Melissa Bishop Stokes listed as her daughter.
Dessie/Destimona was my great grandmother. Children of her and Ephraim were Oscar, Minnie , Mary, Hiram, Anna Pauline, Lewis Asbury(my grandfather) and Floyd Ernest. Lewis 1879-1943 is buried in Ashland, Ore, and Floyd in in a military cemetary in California.
