John R. Bohach III, 3 Cherry St., Wheatland, passed away at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday,
May 25, 2005, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 76.

Mr. Bohach was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Sharon to John Bohach Jr. and Helen Podlucky Bohach.
As a master baker, he owned and operated Ideal Bakery in Farrell from 1956 until his retirement in 2001.

Mr. Bohach was baptized at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage
and later attended St. Adalbert's Church, Farrell. He was a lifetime member and past officer of the Slovak Home, Farrell. Mr. Bohach was an avid fisherman and hunter and
loved spending time with his dogs, Sharlie, Lizzie and Pooh- Bear, as well as his cats,
Smokey and Lucky.

His wife, the former Jean Hermanowicz, whom he married Aug. 19, 1949, survives at
home. Also surviving are: three daughters, Kathleen Thomas, Monroeville, formerly of
Wheatland; Rosemary Emery, Warren, Ohio; and Deborah and her husband Tom Foster,
Muncie, Ind.; a son, John Mark Bohach and his wife Patt, Sharpsville; eight grandchildren, Gabrielle Thomas, Clifford Thomas Emery, John Patrick Emery, Carl Smith, Craig Smith, Danielle and her husband Jayson Phelps, Michelle and her husband Richard Gaffney, and John Michael Bohach; and a great grandson, Griffin Aiden Thomas.

He also leaves: five sisters, Louise Dunder, Sharpsville; Margaret Pelles, Jo-Ann Leckfor
and Veronica Bandjak, all Hubbard; and Theresa Kettering, Hermitage; and a brother, Paul Bohach, Port Charlotte, Fla.

Mr. Bohach was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Bartholomew Bohach and David Smith; a granddaughter, Leslie Kaul; and three sisters, Ann Sirochman, Valeria David and Rose Marie Moder.
