A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday for Margaret Pelles of 1139 Hubbard-Thomas Road, Brookfield. She passed away peacefully at 12:50 a.m. Sunday (3-10-13) in her son's residence in Poland, Ohio. She was 76.

Mrs. Pelles was born July 19, 1936, in Sharon, a daughter of John Bohach Jr. and Helen Podlucky Bohach.

Margaret was raised in Farrell and graduated from Farrell High School in 1954.

In her early years, she had worked as a hairdresser and later gained employment as a line operator at General Motors Corp.'s Lordstown (Ohio) car assembly plant, retiring in 2004 with 33 years of service.

Margaret was a member of Local 1714 of United Auto Workers, Lordstown.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; she will be sadly missed.

She leaves: her son, John E. Pelles and his wife Shelly, Poland; a son-in-law, James Donnelly, Neshannock Township, Lawrence County; five grandchildren, Sara Hurl and her husband Tony, Jonathan Pelles; and Carley, Ian and Alaina Francis; and two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Ava Hurl.

Margaret is also survived by her four sisters, Louise E. Dunder, Sharpsville; Veronica J. Banjak and her husband Ronald J., Hubbard; JoAnn Leckfor, Brookfield; and Theresa B. Kettering, Sharpsville; and a brother, Paul Bohach and his wife Beverly, Port Charlotte, Fla.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Karen L. Donnelly; and an infant, Lisa A. Pelles; four sisters, Rosemarie Moder, Valeria David, Anna M. Sirochman and Catherine Bohach; and a brother, John R. Bohach III.

Interment: St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hermitage.
