Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on September 29, 2008. She resided at 3358 South 3600 West in the Granger area of West Valley City, Utah at the time of her death.
Born August 6, 1917 to George Russ Peck and Betsy Lovenia Zundel in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Ernest Alfred Robinson on June 27, 1936; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Dean enjoyed serving in the Church and held several callings. She loved to garden and won awards for her beautiful yard. She loved music and especially liked to dance. She enjoyed her time at the Harmon Senior Center and her friends there.
She was the mother of eight children: LaRena (Bob) Browning, Ernest (Ilene), Pat (Dick) Neumann, Judy (Mel) Linford, Carol (LaDell) Nielsen, Randy, Ricky (Pam), and Kathy (Hans) Olsen. Also survived by: 37 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was very proud of her posterity. She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; two brothers; two sisters and great grandson, Benjamin.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Granger 4th Ward Chapel, 3305 South Scottsdale Drive (3940 West). Friends and Family may call on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road and 1 1/2 hours prior to the services at the Church.
Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
