Our loving mother and grandmother, Lucille Peck Latta, age 95, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Born November 2, 1921, daughter of George Russ and Betsy Lovenia Zundel Peck.

She married Robert Francis Latta in June of 1944 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death.

Mom was a member of the LDS Church. For thirty-five years, she worked as a tube inspector for Varian.

She was a very caring person who loved visiting with her sisters, other family members and friends, and was a diligent supporter of her children and grandchildren's sports activities. Mom was a jokester, and loved holidays.

Mom is survived by her children, Robert (Sandi) Chatterton, Clyde (Jane) Latta, Robin (Carl) Salazar, and Rusty (Flossie) Latta; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Verda, Betty, LaVon, and Nancy. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Kay; grandson, Roman; sisters, Dean, Vera, and Dorothy; and brothers, Russell, Grant, and Tom.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where viewings will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment-Redwood Memorial Estates.
