Tyrone Ross Yoakum, 64, of Beeville, Texas, died March 14, 2003 in a Kennedy hospital.

He was born on June 5, 1938, in Mineral Wells to Bennett Davis and Mary Bell Easley Merritt. He was adopted at the age of three and was preceded in death by his natural parents and his adoptive parents. He lived in Mineral Wells from 1990 to 1993 and when he was younger. He graduated high school in Newark, Texas, attended North Texas State University and Abilene Christian College. Graveside service is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in the Sturdivant Cemetery with Brad Fry and Ray Crook officiating.

Survivors include three brothers and four sisters.
