Raymond Randolph Merritt, 74, a restaurant worker, of Mineral Wells, died Aug. 6, 2003, in a local hospital.
He was born May 2, 1929, in Rising Star, Texas, to Bennett Davis and Mary Belle Eagley {sic} Merritt. He lived in Mineral Wells since 1987 and was a member of the South Side Church of Christ.
Service is 2 p.m. Monday in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with William Eudy officiating. Burial will be in Sturdivant Cemetery.
Survivors include his brother, John Wesley Merritt of Mineral Wells; sisters, Nora Turner of Mineral Wells, Mable Ford of Fort Worth, Lou Emma Warren of Mineral Wells, and Reba J. Reedy of Weatherford; numerous nieces and nephews.
