Evelyn B. LeDane, 88, formerly of Centerville, Penn Twp., PA, died September 12, 2008 at Rest Haven, Schuylkill County.
Born in Walnut Bottom, PA on April 2, 1920, Evelyn was the only daughter born to the late John Raymond Beecher and Verna E. Moore Beecher.
She was the widow of C. Nevin LeDane, who preceded her in death on November 15, 1998.
Surviving are four children, John T. LeDane, husband of Rose of Centerville, Linda L. Hummel Gingrich, wife of John Gingrich of Landisburg, Kathy L. Rock Townley, wife of John H. Townley of Pine Grove, and David N. LeDane, husband of Maria of Columbia, MD. Evelyn is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Lynn, and Donald Beecher.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Auer Memorial Home and Cremation Services, Harrisburg.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m., on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Centerville Lutheran Church, where she was an active member for much of her life. Interment will be at Centerville Memorial Park.
