Pearl Vivian Stone Ohlwiler, 92, passed away on August 21, 2003.
Born October 26, 1910 in Union, UT to David Phillip and Alice Tapp Stone. Married William Henry Ohlwiler Oct. 2, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, he preceded her in death on May 31, 1986.
Pearl was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. Devoted to her family, friends and church. Served a mission with her husband Bill to San Diego in 1980. Known for her compassionate service and was always willing to share her time, talents and her gardening produce with family and friends. She was loving, kind and without guile and was always looking for the good in people. She maintained an especially close, loving relationship with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survived by her son, Robert (Marcia) Ohlwiler, Kaysville; daughter, Alice (Paul) Pratt, Sandy; Karen (Howard) Anderson, Cottonwood Heights; Mary (Jim) Mullen, Island Park, ID; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Ruby Smith, So. Jordan; Fay (Dallas) Stradley, Riverton; sister-in-law, Emily Stone, Draper; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Gladys, Verdis and Vera (who were infants) and Lavetta Hamilton, brothers Gerald and Lloyd, grandsons David and Dwight Ohlwiler, Nathan Mullen and Mathew Ohlwiler Coulam.
