She was born January 15, 1913 to Alice Tapp Stone and David Philip Stone in Cottonwood, Utah. She married Dell Vane Smith June 7, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1990. Ruby was an active member of the LDS church and very much a family oriented Mom who loved her gardening, tatting, crocheting and canning. She was a wonderful Mother and homemaker. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three daughters: Jean Fitzgerald, Lehi UT, Margie (Ken) Adams, Sandy UT, Dawn (Clay) Hatfield, Tempe AZ; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
