I was born on March 14, 1920 to goodly parents, Zenas & Alice Stone. I loved my home. I married my high school sweetheart Dallas Nelson Stradley. We raised four precious children: three sons and one daughter. They are Gale Dallas Stradley (Linda), Shauna Lee Thompson (Byron), Ryan Zean Stradley and Marlo Sam Stradley (Sandra). They have all been such a joy. Two of my grandchildren are gone as well as all of my siblings. I am the last leaf on the tree of my generation. They are waiting for me in eternity.
I have loved life. I have appreciated my talents of oil painting, sewing, crocheting, and writing. I have enjoyed my church callings and have supported my husband and family in theirs. All through my life I have loved and lived it. I did not want to leave because I love you all so very much. Do not grieve for me when I am gone. I am happy as I dance through my field of daisies. Thank you God for life so beautiful. I have been blessed with 15 grandchildren (2 deceased), two step grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren (1 deceased).
To my friends and loved ones let me leave this advice: "Keep busy, keep your faith and keep smiling." When the showers come learn to dance in the rain. I send my love to all of you.
A viewing will be held April 3 from 6-8 P.M. at the Ranch Ward 1st Ward, 1500 W. 13200 S. Funeral services will be held April 4 at 11 A.M. at the same location, with a viewing one hour prior. Interment at Murray City Cemetery. www.broomheadfuneralhome.com
