Hew was a farner and a mason.∼"On May 6, 1790, Stephen Arnoe ( this Stephen ) obligtated himself to Joseph Cherry - weaver- to work for one year at the weaver Business . during which time his father John Arnoe agrees to board & clothe his son Stephen and to pay all damages which may arise from the absence of his son during this time .

Stephen Renaud is buried in the Methodist Cemetery at the top of the hill on North Ave. in New Rochelle, NY.
Stephen's brother, John and his wife, Mary, are also buried there, near to the cript where Stephen's father, John and John's wife are also buried.
He was named for his grandfather, Stephen Renoud Junior.
David Purdy, Nathaniel Purdy and Roger Purdy all lived within a few houses of Stephen Renoud and his wife Martha Purdy, in Harrison, New York. I believe that the sixth person living in his household, in 1820, was John Renoud or his wife Mary Secord Renoud. The fact is that Stephen Renoud took care of his father when he got old. This is from records in New Rochelle, New York.
