Hugh Arrington, 69, of North Carrollton died July 4 at Greenwood - Leflore Hospital. Mr. Arrington was a retired marshall of North Carrollton.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary P. Arrington of North Carrollton; one son, William E. Arrington of New Orleans, La.; five sisters, Mrs. Aline Rayburn, Mrs. Margaret Nunley and Mrs. Minnie L. Herbert, all of Carrollton, Mrs. Mayfred Shackle of North Carrollton and Mrs. Mary Alice Grafton of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Alton Arrington of Marks; 2 grandchildren.
Services were held at. Carrollton Baptist Church at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, July 6 with Rev. George Smith, Rev. James Townsend and Rev. Bill Patten officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Cecil Herbert, David Lee Herbert, William Mayhew Nunley, Pete Shackleford, George Shackleford, Terry Cox, Tommy Clayton and Chip Crenshaw.
