28 Feb 1916: Mrs. Clara E. Light, widow of A.B. Light, died on Saturday morning at her residence, near Freeport Mills, on the Mt. Zion Road. She was taken ill with what appeared to be an attack of grippe, and she expired the following morning. She was aged 63 years and was a member of the Lutheran church at Mt, Zion. She leaves these children: Annie M. Kreiser, Mt. Zion; John B. Light, at home; Rebecca N, Light and Samuel B. Light, of Freeport. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Joseph Boyer, Mt. Zion; Solomon Boyer, Freeport; Cornelius Boyer, of Lebanon; Ceranus Boyer, Lebanon; Freeman Boyer, Jacksonville; Edward Boyer, Reading; Mrs. Catherine Haak, Lebanon; Mrs. Rebecca Ulrich, Annville; Miss Lydia Boyer, Reading; Mrs. Abbie Ott, Avon. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
