Edwin A. Boyer, of Kutztown, Myerstown Route 2, passed away at 5:40 o'clock last evening at his home from a heart ailment following an illness of one year. He was 73 years of age and was employed in the Reading Company car shop at Reading. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. He leaves his wife, Minnie E. (Steinmetz) Boyer; and the following children: David, Womelsdorf Route 1; Edna, wife of Solomon Hollenbach, Stouchsburg; Myrtle, wife of Harry Hummelberger, Myerstown; Lester, Baltimore, Md.; Carl, Myerstown Route 3; Anna, wife of William Conrad, Womelsdorf; Miles, Wichita Falls, Tex.; Misses Irene and Arlene, both at home; Warren, Myerstown Route 3: nineteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two brothers, Seranus, Myerstown, and Freeman, of Myerstown Route 3.
