9 Nov 1936: Mrs. Abbie S. Ott, 57, nee Boyer, of 1143 East Cumberland Street, died at her home at 5:10 Saturday morning of complications following a three months illness. She was a member of the Avon United Brethren Church and leaves to survive her husband, John Ott; children, Homer E. Ott, of Avon; John J. Ott, of Lebanon and Mrs. Ray Longenecker, at home. Four grandchildren also survive as do the following brothers and sisters, Solomon Boyer, Mt. Zion; Freeman, of Bethel Township; Seranus, of Schaefferstown; Edwin, of Kutztown and Joseph of Myerstown; Mrs. Rebecca Uhrich, of Fontana and Lydia Boyer, of New York. [Lebanon Semi-Weekly News]
