Delos Anderson Hurd, 77, of Renton WA died Mar 14, 1996 at home.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23, 1996 at 11 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery.
Dee was born in Afton to M.K. and Lucy Hurd.
He attended schools at Auburn and Afton, played basketball and participated in track.
Growing up he worked on his father's farm and for various farmers.
Dee married Gean Shumway Dec 6, 1937 in Montpelier.
The first five years of their marriage were hard and Dee went wherever he could to find work.
They moved to Boise and he worked at various jobs and retired form Idaho Power after 26 years.
Dee bought a farm at Wilder, ID and there they raised their family.
He held the office of high priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had bee a Boy Scout advisor, basketball coach, counselor in the Sunday School presidency and a home teacher.
Hi is survived by his wife of Renton, five sons and a daughter, three sisters, 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
