Glenda Hyde, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep April 18, 2003 at her home in Auburn. she was born February 18,1913 in Grover to Mahori Knighton Hurd and Lucy Anderson Hurd.
She married Lloyd Hyde February 8, 1934 in the Logan Temple She and Lloyd lived in Auburn all of their married lives. they were each others best friend.
She worked side-by-side on the farm with her husband. she was always active in the lDS Church serving in many callings in the Sunday School, Primary, Young Women, Relief Society and was a visiting teacher for many years.
After the eight children were raised, they spent many hours camping, fishing and hunting together. She loved her family and was happiest when doing things with them.
She and Lloyd served in the Illinois Nauvoo Mission.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Glenda is survived by her eight children, Gwen Nelson, Auburn, Dale Hyde, Novato, California, Neccia Booth, Auburn, Rex Hyde, South Jordan, Utah, Bona Taylor Cokeville, Beth Smith, West Valley City, Utah, Ronny Hyde and LuAnn Bruhns of Auburn and 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
