Mary J. Campbell, wife of Albert Campbell, died at her home near Owasco, Thursday, aged 59 years. Funeral services Friday at the house Rev. Tedford officiating; interment at the Moor cemetery near Owasco. Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of Richard Smith and was born near Romney, Tippecanoe county. She had spent all her life near Owasco. She was a consistent member of the Baptist church from early life and an excellent woman. In 1859 she was married to Joseph Garst, who died in 1864. To this union three children were born, two of whom are living. In 1869 she married Albert Campbell. To this union also three children were born, and two still live.
