Evelyn Loraine "Eva" Allcox/Alcott was the daughter of William Asbury (Allcock Allcox) Alcott & Anna Mahitable (Ray) Alcott, who are buried in Lake Amelia Cemetery, Villard, Pope Co., MN, and the wife of Ralph McKinley Baldwin. Ralph Baldwin & Eva were divorced & Eva married second Guy Ross. Eva & Ralph Baldwin had three children together: Gareld Emery Baldwin, born & died June 15, 1916, Akeley Hubbard Co., MN, Walter Emery (Baldwin) Ross, born Apr. 16, 1917 Badoura Twp., Hubbard Co., MN, died Feb. 14, 1945, Italy, Killed in WWII & Mildred Evelyn Baldwin born & died Sept. 5, 1918, Canada. Eva & Guy Ross were married Sept. 30, 1928, MN and they lived at Sheldon, WI. Eva and Guy adopted two children: Beverly Ross (was the daughter of Bernard Ray) & Donald Ross.

Walter Emery Baldwin Ross, was the son of Ralph Baldwin & Evelyn Loraine "Eva" Baldwin-Ross. Walter was adopted by Eva's second husband, Guy Ross. Walter was killed in WWII.

Unretouched photo of Eva and Ralph, with writing on the back. Eva is wearing a wedding band, although Ralph is not. The couple were married 01 Jun 1915 in Grand Island, Hall Co., NE. Only their son Walter could have written "Mamma & Papa".
