James Ronald Barber, 44, R.R.3, Greensburg, died at 4:50 a.m. today, Nov. 3, 1989.
He was born May 28, 1945, in Rushville, Ind., the son of Irvin and Gladys Lee Barber, and they preceded him in death. He worked for Sibbitt Chevrolet and Cadillac, Inc., Greensburg, and was a member of the Welsh-Crawley-Kramer Post America Legion. He was a graduate of Sandusky High School.
He is survived by two brothers, Arnold Barber, R.R.8, Greensburg and Richard M. Barber, R.R.3, Greensburg; one sister, Julia Fuentes, Greensburg; his former wife, Janice Ashby, Greensburg; two sisters-in-law, Betty Barber, Rushville, Ind., and Mary Whitaker, Connersville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Irvin William Barber Jr. and one sister, Ellen Barber.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg.
Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery north of Clarksburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
