— Richard M. Barber, 72, Greensburg, passed away on Friday, Oct. 3 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
Born April 19, 1936 in Rush County, he was the son of Irvin W. and Gladys P. (Lee) Barber.
He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the Army. He was a factory worker at Chrysler Corp. in New Castle for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the U.A.W. #371.
He is survived by one brother; Arnold Lee Barber, Greensburg and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Irvin Barber Jr., and Jim Barber and two sister; Julia Ann Fuentes, and Ellen Barber.
Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Pastor Jon Porter officiating.
Interment and military graveside services will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery in Rush County.
Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Hospice.
