Daughter of Damas Desjardins and Melvina Elthier, wife of Elbert G. King and mother of Elbert D. and Ernest J. King.

Obituary - Mrs. Florence King, 55, of Saxton Street, North Patchogue, died yesterday at Mather Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Born in New York City, she resided in this area 45 years.

She is survived by her husband, Elbert G. King; two sons, Elbert D. King and Ernest J. King, of Patchogue; one grandchild; three brothers, Alfonse Gardner of Holtville, and William and Frank Desjardins of New York City; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Chanil of Holtsville and Mrs. George Ma(?)ork, of Patchogue.

A rosary service will be held at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Robertaccio Funeral Home. A requiem mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, the Rev. John K. Gorman, celebrant. Interment will be private.
