FORT EDWARD, N.Y. - Patsy J. Catone, age 80, of 15 Factory Street in Fort Edward, passed away on Thursday, April 5th 1990 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Albany, N.Y.

He was born on August 4th 1909 in Fort Edward, N.Y., he was the son of Pasquale and Marie (Corsale) Catone.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army during World War II, serving in Italy. He received the Purple Heart and obtained the rank of Sergeant.

Mr. , Catone was formerly employed with the Delaware and Hudson Railroad for 13 years, and was a Custodian for nine years at the Powers Elementary School in Fort Edward, N.Y., and retired from the New York State Department of Transportation after 13 years of service.

Mr. Catone was a member of the Fort Edward Council 336 Knights of Columbus.

He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers; Henry Catone, Joseph Catone, and Anthony L Catone, and one sister; Madeline Munoff.

Survivors include four brothers; Nicholas Catone of South Glens Falls, N.Y., Sylvester Catone of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Diamond Catone of Glens Falls, N.Y., and Angelo Catone of Fort Edward, N.Y., and four sisters; Lillian Rabine of Fort Ann, N.Y., Mrs. Walter (Mary) Warren of Glens Falls, N.Y., Mrs. Arthur (Rose) Dougherty of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Christina Murray of Fort Edward, N.Y.

Arrangements by the M.B, Kilmer Funeral Home on 82 Broadway in Fort Edward, N.Y.

Burial will be at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fort Edward, N.Y.
