Funeral services for Mrs. Zela Jane Swinford Barnes, age 94, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hudgins officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery beside her late husband Mr.F. A. "Peck" Barnes. Mrs. Barnes passed away Tuesday evening at the Lincoln Medical Center. Mrs. Barnes was a native of Lincoln County, TN and the daughter of the late America Jane and Davis Swinford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cyruston Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter; Nancy Jayne Patterson of Fayetteville, grandchildren; Frances Ring of Fayetteville, Rick Patterson of Fayetteville, James Patterson of Murfreesboro, and Tony Patterson of Fayetteville, 12 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren and sister Annie Sue Barnes of Fayetteville. Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by great grandson Justin Del Re and Son-in-law Fred Patterson.
