Funeral services were conducted Friday at Higgins Funeral Home for Mrs. Pina Swinford May, who died Wednesday (December 5, 1990) in Lincoln Skilled Care Center after a long illness. She was 85.
Eugene Peden officiated, and burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Davis and America Serina Towry Swinford. Mrs. May was a housewife and a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Annie Sue Barnes and Mrs. Zela Barnes, both of Fayetteville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Annie Ruth Henderson; and a stepson, Kenneth May, both of Fayetteville.
