Konstanty emigrated from Bremen, Germany in 1907 and arrived in Baltimore, Maryland aboard the ship "Chemnitz". Konstanty was travelling with his brother John/Jan. He stated that they were coming to America to see their brother, Michael Skwarlo.
He served in WW-1 in what was known as the Polish American Army (aka Haller's Army or The Polish Army in France) (in Polish, Armia Polska we Francyi) out of Buffalo, New York.
Konstanty registered for the Draft in 1942 at the age of 62.
He was employed by the Pittsburgh Coal Company, Midland #1, Oliver Building, Pittsburgh, Alleg. County, PA.
He and his wife, Caroline, resided at 208 McNutt Street, Houston, Washington, PA.
Konstanty and Caroline were the parents of Elizabeth Skwarlo, Joseph Skwarlo; Helen Skwarlo Grykowski; Genevieve "Jennie" Skwarlo Tomsic; Emelia Skwarlo Lawther; Walter Joseph Skwarlo; and Edward J Skwarlo.
Konstanty was survived by six grand-children.
