He went out to do some team work about the farm, and came in not feeling well.
He laid down, and passed away shortly after.
He is survived by his wife, son, Herman, a brother, Neal Junker, and two sisters, Mrs. Ben Behrends of Diller and Miss Deana Junker of Hastings.
H.H. Junker died suddenly at his home near Helvey, Nebraska, Thursday morning, July 24, 1930, after an attack of apoplexy.
He was 56 years, 2 months and 22 days of age. Hiddie H. Junker was born at Pommery, Grant county, Iowa May 2, 1874. With his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harm H. Junker, he came to Nebraska in 1880 and located near Gladstone. On Oct. 27, 1904 he was married to Miss Louise Kruse at Western, Nebr. They resided on a farm near Bower, Nebr., for two years after which they went to Lane, South Dakota, where they remained until 1915. They returned to Daykin in which vicinity he lived until his death. Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Herman, one brother, Neal Junker of Helvey, two sisters, Stena, Mrs. Ben Behrends of Diller, and Miss Dena Junker, of Hastings, Nebraska. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the St. John's Lutheran church in Daykin with Rev. Brokering officiating. Internment was in the Fairbury cemetery.
