Maurice J. Albert, 60, of Bristol, husband of Armande (Blanchard) Albert, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Bristol Hospital. Maurice was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, Jan. 6, 1948, and was a son of Anita (Lagace) Albert of St. Anne, New Brunswick, Canada, and the late Eddy Albert. He resided in Bristol for 41 years and, before retiring a year ago, he was employed at Arborio Corp., Cromwell. He was a member of St. Ann Church, Bristol. In addition to his wife, Maurice, is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne and Kelly Albert and Kevin Albert, all of Bristol; two stepsons, Jimmy and Tommy Pelletier, both of Bristol; a stepdaughter, Vicky Pelletier of Bristol; a brother, Armand Albert of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada; three sisters, Shirley Sirois of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, and Gladys Cyr of St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada, and Dorothy Cote of Van Buren, Maine; a grandson, Connor Albert; two step-grandchildren, Jordan and Jasmyne Pelletier, both of Bristol; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 21, 2008, 8 a.m., from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Ann Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
