Miss Betty Shepherd, 60, of Forrest City, passed away Wednesday at Crestpark Nursing Home in Forrest City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Fredrick Shepherd and Rilla Ashburn Shepherd; brothers, William, Jack, and JerryWayne; sisters, Shirley Lou, Charolett Jo, Romnia, Cordie June.

Survivors are brothers, Larry Shepherd of Colt; Lonnie Shepherd of Forrest City; Bud Shepherd of Ocoee, Florida; Glenn Shepherd of Fort Smith; Don Shepherd and Ernest Shepherd of Michigan; and sister, Louise Carter of Leola, Arkansas.

Services are Saturday at Kernodle Funeral Home Chapel at 3 PM with burial in Loughridge Cemetery, Colt, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday evening at Kernodle Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM.
