Mrs. Jeannine Braddy Evans, 48, of Route 2, Soperton died Friday, January 9, 1987 after a short illness. Mrs. Evans has lived most of her life in Montgomery County and was a daughter of Steelie Braddy and the late Mrs. Wilma Beaty Braddy. She was a member of Tarrytown Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Wells, Decatur, Michael Evans, Vidalia; a daughter, Mrs. Lisa Davis, Vidalia; father, Steelie Braddy, Tarrytown; six sisters, Mrs. Janis Talley, Lyons, Mrs. Dana O'Grady, Green Cove Springs, Florida, Mrs. Patti Davis, Soperton, Mrs. Melanie Saliba, Dothan, Alabama, Mrs. Sonja Spivey, Soperton, Mrs. Marilyn Coker, Greenville, Alabama; two brothers, Bob H. Braddy, Soperton and Billy Braddy of Tarrytown and two grandchildren.
Services were held in Tarrytown Baptist Church at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, January 11, 1987 with the Rev. Jeff Rawlins officiating. Burial was in the Braddy Cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Mitch Braddy, Scott Braddy, Brad Braddy, Shane Davis, Jim Welch and Danny Shepherd.
