Mrs. Wilma Eudine Braddy, 58, Route 3, Soperton, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, November 11.

A lifetime resident of Montgomery County, Mrs. Braddy was a daughter of the late Bob Beaty and Mrs. Viola Calhoun Beaty. She was a member of Tarrytown Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Steelie Braddy; two sons, Bob and Billy Braddy of Soperton; seven daughters, Mrs. Janis Talley of Lyons, Mrs. Jeannine Wells of Savannah, Mrs. Dana O'Grady of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Patti Davis of Soperton, Mrs. Melanie Baker of Troy, Ala., Mrs. Sonja Spivey of Macon, Miss Marilyn Braddy of Soperton; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Adams of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Grady Ward and Mrs. Annie Lou Calhoun, both of Savannah; one brother Otis Beaty of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 Sunday from Tarrytown Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Braddy Cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were: nephews, Bobby McDonald, Al Calhoun, Hugh Braddy, Larry Braddy, Gary Braddy, Kelly Braddy, and Julian Warnock.

The honorary escort was composed of members of the Soperton Chapter of the Eastern Star.
