She was born in Gilchrist on February 24, 1919, the daughter of Jakov "Jack" and Mary (Polich) Tomlianovich. She married Elliott Banister on January 12, 1946; he preceded her in death in 1975.
Survivors include one sister, Agnes "Peg" Baxter; grandson, John David Banister; two sisters-in-law, Martha Robinson and Evelyn Banister; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Elliott J. Banister, three brothers and five sisters.
Elizabeth was a salesperson for Lee-Rose in Canton for 15 years retiring in 1987.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
