Ann M. Mihelcic, 92, of 129 S. First Ave., formerly of Farmington and 520 Mill St., Knoxville, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday,
April 3, 1997, at Graham Hospital.

Born July 26, 1904, in Yugoslavia to Jack and Mary Polish Tomlianovich, she married George Mihelcic on Sept. 22, 1927, in LaSalle. He died Oct. 3, 1967. She also was preceded in death by one son, George Mihelcic, two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are one brother, Anthony "Tom" Tomlianovich of Canton; and four sisters, Katherine Tomlianovich, Agnes "Peg" Baxter and Elizabeth Banister, all of Canton, and Mary Matkovich of Pekin.

She moved from Yugoslavia to the United States when she was 5 years old. She was a charter member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Farmington and its Altar & Rosary Society.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. The Rev. Arthur D. Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 8:15 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, with recitation of the rosary at 9 a.m.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington.

Memorials may be made to her church or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton.
