Trickham - Graveside services for Howard C. Jones, 74, of Brownwood will be at 4 P.M. Friday at Trickham Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Green officiating. Davis- Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood is handling the arrangements. He died at 8:24 p.m. at his home after a seven -year illness.
Mr. Jones was born in Moody on May 9, 1913. On March 23, 1935 he married Lucile Bingham in Coleman. A 34 year resident of Brownwood, he was a retired service station attendant and a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons H.R. "Sonny" Jones, Richard Jones, and James R. Jones, all of Brownwood; three daughters, Ruby Lee Smith of San Antonio, Imogene Pedraza of Cuero, and Mary Kemp of Brownwood; two brothers, Bob Jones of Midland and Ray Jones of Brownwood; three sisters, Marie Burroughs and Melba Collier, both of Brownwood, and Nita Templin of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
