Lora Corley, 93, died Saturday, June 19, 1976 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing home, after a short illness following a broken hip.

She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Mrs. Corley was born August 3, 1882 in Dale, Arkansas, being next to the youngest of the twelve Kirby brothers and sisters.

She was married to Riley R. Corley October 1897. They moved in a covered wagon to Vivian, Okla before Statehood in 1907. Her husband proceeded her in death in June 1922 at the age of 46.

She reared her five children on a large farm two miles north of Vivian. Many will remember buying chickens, eggs, turkeys, ham, cream, hay, cattle, sheep, honey and various kinds of fruits from her. In later years she retired from the farm and moved to Eufaula in 1955.

Mrs. Corley is survived by three sons, Clement and Cloise of Eufaula, Buron, Oraville, Calif., a daughter, Juanita Cook, Eufaula, one sister, Laura Corley, Eufaula, twenty three grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
