1921, September 5, near Everson, Isabelle was the youngest of 7 children born to Nellie (nee Konneker) and Thomas Henry Braithwaite.

Isabelle graduated from Mt. Baker High School and had attended Nooksack United Methodist Church.
She was a homemaker.

1956, November 10, married Roy James Summerville.

They had one son and one daughter.

In 1973, Roy passed away. Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband Roy Summerville in 1973 and five brothers.

Isabelle lived most of her life in the Everson WA area.

Isabelle Summerville died at Bellingham's St. Joseph Hospital on Sunday, May 26, (2002). She was 80.
Mrs. Summerville is survived by her son James Summerville and wife Chris of Blaine, daughter Barbara Simpson and husband Justin of St. Peter, MN, grandsons Spencer and Evan Summerville, sister Betty Johnson and husband Jack in Ireland; her caregivers Marie Nelson and Shirley Regnier, and numerous other relatives. Services are under the care of Gillies Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Lynden.

Funeral services for Mrs. Isabelle Summerville of Everson were conducted on Thursday, May 30, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Gillies Funeral Home with Joyce Gunderson Braithwaite's brother Rev. Wilfred Gunderson officiating. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery.
