Reddick Eason, Jr. was the son of Reddick and Mahala Ferrand Eason, born in Norfolk County, Portsmouth,VA on April 21, 1886. His occupation for the 1920-1930 census was a Brakeman for the Seaboard R.R. and after that a Laborer at the Norfolk Navy Yard. In the middle to late thirties he owned a barbershop at 1401 1/2 High Street. He married Levenia Riddick on June 30, 1919 in Portsmouth, Va. They resided at 811 Godwin St., and had no children. Sometime between 1930 and 1935 Levenia died. He later married Goldie Powell, still residing at his residence. Goldie's death is unknown at this time. Reddick Jr. was the brother of Columbus Eason, Charles H. Eason, Annie L. Miller, Ruth V. Sharpe, Katie E. Bogan. Another sister born in 1882 named Arbari, died at one yr old in June of 1883.
