Bonnie Fay Crain Wilcox passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2008, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born December 23, 1920, in rural Columbus, Kansas. Bonnie's parents were John and Frances Sales Crain.

She married Homer Carl Wilcox on January 26, 1939. Homer preceded her in death on August 2, 2000.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Merle and Clifford Crain; sisters Pearl Hale, Wilma Corn, Vera Cowley, Millie Wilcox, and Bueanna "Teddy" Trimble.

Bonnie moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to be near her daughters, Carolyn Taylor, and Connie Gibson in 2001.

She is survived by sisters Wamyth Geasland, Springfield, Missouri, Charlea (Peggy) Harwood, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and brother, Harlan Crain, Pittsburg, Kansas. Bonnie is also survived by her grandchildren, Carla (Dr. Steve) Jordan, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Brian (Wren) Taylor, rural Baxter Springs, Kansas, and Troy (Sandy) Gibson, Greenville, Mississippi. Her surviving great-grandchildren are Airman Beau Jordan, Mick Jordan, Lilly Jordan, Tucker Taylor, Sam Taylor, Ace Taylor, and Caylin Gibson.

Bonnie was a member of the First Christian Church of Columbus, Kansas. Her loved ones will always remember her sharp wit, her joyous singing, and her beautiful laughter.
