Mrs. Willard Walton Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Willard Walton died very suddenly at her home northwest of Center on Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock. Her passing was due to heart affliction and had been ill only a day.

Besides her husband she leaves to mourn, a family of 12 children, four brothers and five sisters. The brothers are John Adams, Cody, Nebr.; Jud Adams, Minnesota; Ora Adams, Omaha, Nebr.; Perry Adams, Venus, Nebr. The sisters are Mrs. Sexton, Orchard; Mrs. Brookhouser, Orchard; Mrs. F.E. Butterfield, Walnut and Mrs. Guy Butterfield, Grimton, Nebr.; Mrs. Geo. Wilcox, Niobrara; and a number of friends and acquaintances who will deeply mourn her demise.

Mrs Walton was born in Iowa on May 14, 1872, and died ath the age of 55 years, 11 months and 24 days.

The funeral will be held Friday at 12 o'clock at the Enterprise school house west of Creighton, Rev. E Nye of Spencer will bin in charge of the services.

Mrs. J.E. Sexton and Mrs. Wm. Brookhouser received the sad news Tuesday night announcing the sudden death of their sister, Mrs. Willard Walton, of near Niobrara, which occurred about eight o'clock Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Walton had been feeling poorly for a couple of days following an attack of the flu, but her condition was not considered serious and the family thought she had gone to take a sleep and were astonished to go into the room a short time later to find that life had departed.

The deceased will be remembered by old timers in the neighborhood of Enterprise, as Belle Adams, daughter of Scott Adams. She is survived by the husband, twelve children, five sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at the Enterprise school house at twelve o'clock, today (Friday) and Interment made in the Enterprise Cemetery.
